We help you choose a small, deliberate set of AI tools instead of collecting subscriptions. You answer eight short questions about your business, and we rank products from our structured database against those answers, explaining why each one was selected and what it costs.

How long does the assessment take?

Most people finish in two to three minutes. You can also describe your business in plain English at the top of the assessment and we will pre-fill your answers before you review them.

Do I need an account to use it?

Accepted Answer

No. The assessment, the AI Waste Calculator, comparisons and every tool profile are free and open. Your answers are saved in your own browser so you can return to them from the dashboard on the same device.

Where is my data stored?

Assessment answers, tracked subscriptions and any email you enter are stored locally in your browser, not on our servers. Clearing your browser data removes them. See the Privacy Policy for detail.

Can I get my recommended stack emailed to me?

Accepted Answer

Not yet. Emailed copies are not connected, so the save button keeps your stack on this device only. We say so clearly on the results screen rather than pretending a message was sent.

How are tools ranked?

Ranking combines fit against your answers (use case, budget, priorities, team size, technical comfort and industry) with our own product scores for capability, ease of use, value, integration and support. The full methodology is on the How We Rank page.

Can a company pay to rank higher?

No. Placement in results is never for sale. Sponsored placements, where they exist, are labelled as sponsored and sit outside the ranked recommendations.

Do you earn commission on the tools you recommend?

Sometimes. Some outbound links are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you subscribe. It never changes your price and never changes the ranking. Every affiliate link is disclosed on the page it appears.

Why do you recommend so few tools?

Because overlapping subscriptions are the most common and most expensive mistake we see. A tight stack of four to six tools that people actually use beats fifteen that nobody opens.

How current is your product data?

Every tool profile shows the date its record was last verified. Pricing and capabilities change often, so always confirm current pricing on the vendor's own site before you buy.

How does the AI Waste Calculator work?

You enter the AI tools you pay for today with their monthly cost and seat count. We look for products that overlap in purpose, flag likely duplication and show an estimated monthly and annual figure you could recover by consolidating.

Are the savings figures guaranteed?

No. They are estimates based on the numbers you enter and the overlap we detect between products. Treat them as a starting point for a decision, not a financial forecast.

Is the platform free?

My product's details are wrong. How do I fix them?

Send us the correction through the contact form with a link to the source on your own site. Verified corrections are applied and the record's verification date is updated.

How do I get my AI product listed?

Use the For Vendors page to submit your product. Listing is editorial: we assess products on merit and a listing cannot be bought.
